Missing Person: Mari Ann Fowler, Female, Native Place: LouisianaPort Allen, Mari was last seen on Christmas Eve,2002, outside a Subway sandwhich shop on Highway 41,west of Port Allen. She had been on her way tovisit her husband,Jerry Fowler, who was serving a 5-year prison term for Bribery in Texas. Mari's belongings, as well as some acrylic fingernails, were found scatteredabout the parking lot, indications of a possible struggle. Her purse and some Christmas gifts were located in her car.Police believe she was abducted from the strip mall parking lot.Mari is a possible victim of serial killer Derrick Todd Lee; Lee owned a truck similar to the one seen at the site of Mari's abduction, and cellular phone records place him nearby Mari when she was abducted.
